Do most apartments let you paint the interior?

The neutral colors of most apartments are sooo boring. From you experience, do most apartment units let you paint over them?

I worked for an apartment complex for several years and most do not. It should tell you in your lease. most of the time if you paint you are breaking the lease and that is grounds for eviction. Not to mention that you will never get your security deposit back. It would not hurt to ask the management. But I would ask first.

Check your lease most don't but some do but you must paint it back before you leave

My experience is most do not. Ask the manager and see what happens in your case.

I rented five different houses in Florida and not one of them let tenants paint.

Now I own my own house in another state and love the fact that every room has a different color on the walls.
