I am setting up a few more speakers in my room that are hooked up to my computer. My sound card supports 7.1 surround sound but i dont like the sound of my speakers when they are plugged into the "side speakers" port because they dont receive any low frequency even though they each have 12'' woofers on them. I tested them out in the "front speaker" jack and they sound great. I already have front speakers however, and i would like to just use a mini-stereo headphone splitter jack in order to run both of the speaker pairs from the same jack. Would this affect sound quality?
