I have a novation ks rack synth at home, and I want to plug more than one midi controller into it. It only has one midi input, and so I can't just plug the different midi controllers straight into the Synth. I also want to be able to control different midi channels with the different keyboards (each keyboard controlling a different sound) but I'm not sure if merging the midi channels would stop me from being able to do this. What do I need to do? I'm quite confused as to how to connect more then one midi keyboard into the synth.
Do midi mergers change anything to do with the midi channels?
