Do mercury and alcohol thermometers give the same temperatures ?
So for example, if i'm measuring a liquid....
And I use the mercury theremometer first, and it shows 20 degrees celsius, will the alcohol thermometer read 20 degrees celsius too ?
If it does or does not, please explain why. I'm very confused thank you.
Would there be a big difference in temperature though or just a slight difference. PLEASE BE SPECIFIC
