Do many on R&S ACTUALLY think that the banana is considered a classic argument

for the existence of God? I assumed Ray Comfort & Kurt Cameron's "banana proof for God" video was a source of laughter across the entire "apologetics spectrum" -- but then I started seeing posts on R&S which seemed to presume that theologians down through the centuries have looked in awe to the banana as an important theological foundation, such that its shape is studied by every seminarian. Or so we are told in posts such as this one:

So 'fess up: Did anyone seriously believe that the banana has ever represented a theological argument to anybody but Comfort & Cameron?

But ironically, have their detractors ever considered that by pointing out that the cultivated banana has been carefully nurtured by humans through many generations to produce its modern preferred shape and sweeter flavor, they have actually TURNED THE BANANA INTO AN ARGUMENT FOR INTELLIGENT DESIGN?!
