Do less educated people tend to vote Republican everywhere, or only in Virginia?

I am not making this up...
Tom Davis R -VA will surely regret telling Chris Matthews tonight on Hardball...as many as 88 of 100 counties with the highest level of education in Virginia voted for Obama and 88 of the 100 counties with the lowest levels of education voted for McCain.
Answers please?
