Do judges have infinite power?

Let's say I have loads of evidence against someone and the other person has nothing. Can a judge pick the other person just because he feels like it?
 
Yes, but you can always appeal his decision. Take it to a higher Judge/Court. For example, in a small claims case... say you get a judgment against you and you disagree with the Magistrate's decision. You would appeal it to the District Judge. If it has been before a District Judge, you could appeal it to Circuit Court, and so on.
