The Jim Crow Laws were a local phenomenon affecting only 14 out of 50 states and does not justify the national scope of affirmative action.

Affirmative Action is simply reverse jim crow but on a national level, punishing those states that never had segregation or did not have a black population; e.g. the black population of New Hampshire and Idaho in 1963 was zero.
