I'm an automotive technician and am not a very big Chrysler fan AT ALL, but out of all of their brands my favorite is Jeep. The newer Jeeps are odd and quite a pain. The new Wranglers no longer have the inline six, but now have a V-6, which means better gas mileage, but harder to work on. I've seen them all the time where the coil packs go out, but that's like $120 at Advance Auto and it has a lifetime warranty. They are very easy to work on, though. I would personally get an older Wrangler with the inline six motor. You will have more reliability, repairability and moddability.
