do i still need itunes

hi,

i truly have no technical knowledge...pc user used i tunes...based on threads here downloaded songbird to my pc...
1. once i mount my droid will it be-sync for dummies?
2. do i still need itunes on my computer now that it has all the tunes on songbird?

lastly- on another note- how many songs can my droid hold?

No, you do not need itunes per say, you can use it if you wish to sync your music or you can use the drag and drop method once your device is mounted.

What size sdcard are you using? That will determine how much music you can store.

using 16gb that droid came with....
already have songbird...wasn't sure if i still needed itunes on my pc if i have this....
 
Find where your music is stored on your pc hard drive, plug in the droid via usb when it pops up as mounted drag and drop all your music files unto the droid sd.
