Do I still have to stealth patch an xbox 360 game if I do not want to go online?

I have recently bought a flashed Xbox 360 for $70.00. It cost so little because the previous owner was banned from xbox live.I was wondering weather or not I had to stealth a game if I cannot go online. Going online is not an option anyways due to the fact that I already have a PS3 and I'm banned from live anyways. I am wondering, Do I still have to stealth the game or can I just Download, burn, and play? Also are there any other things I have to do other than flashing my Xbox 360 and stealth patching a game?
 
You won't have to stealth patch as it's only done to keep the system from being banned on Xbox live.

The only thing you need to keep a heads up for that any new games coming out in the last month and on are going to be Wave 4, which required a new firmware upgrade. Make sure the person you bought it from has done it or you won't be able to play any new releases.
