Do I still have to pay tuition at my community college even if I don't want credits?

I am planning on enrolling in the dual enrollment program at my local community college. However, my goal is not to get ahead on my credits. It is simply to show top schools like Harvard and Princeton that I can handle college-level work. So if I don't want credits, do I still have to pay the tuition, since the tuition is PER CREDIT. Plus, I can't even afford to pay for it.

Thank you in advance!

This depends on whatever agreement your high school has with the community college. But my guess is yes - after all, you're taking up all the same resources as the people who actually want credit. I'm not sure why you think the community college & the teacher/professor should donate their time, labor, and resources to you without getting paid. You're still getting an education out of the deal, even if you don't want the credits.

You will need to discuss this with your high school and/or the college in question. However, you will still most likely need to pay SOMETHING, since you will be taking a seat in the class that could have otherwise gone to a student who would have paid the regular tuition.
