summons? I recently got an unfair ticket for $230 but I dont want to go to court it has been five days since the incident and I do not work. I have the money now and want to pay for the ticket but i recieved a court summons today in the mail. On the ticket it dosent say its required for me to go to court and the court date on the ticket is June 7th. On the summons notice i received in the mail it says i have a court date for May 24th? Does this mean i have to go or can i just pay the ticket?
