I have a 4800 watt peak sub 2400 rms and a 4000 watt peak amp 2000 rms, and i am just wondering if i really need to get a 2nd battery or a capacitor. and i am also wondering wut gauge should i use for my wireing.
A second battery could depend on which one you have now. I would probably suggest getting a second battery. But i mean i guess you could get by with the big 3 upgrade and a yellow top. Be sure it is fused though. For that amount of power i wouldnt go with anything less than 0 gauge. Im only running 1200 watts and i got 0 gauge.
