so i bought this pioneer dvd in dash at bestbuy. they gave me a harness for it I had everything else, but i got home although the harness said it was for my vehicle, IT didnt fit! I snapped a piece on the side in the process of making it fit. so i shaved the plastic moldings of the stock one to make it fit into the little sliding slots. cd player didnt work. so I know I have the wrong wiring harness. I checked at walmart. circuit city is out of buisness....right now im just thinking about cutting the wires altogether, because its pissing me off. any ideas, i plan to cut a little before the stock harness so i can keep it for the future.... ALSO THERE IS A SMALLER HARNESS THAT PLUGGED INTO MY STOCK STEREO (SO 2) DO I NEED THE SECOND SMALLER ONE FOR MY NEW STEREO? what do i do just put the wires that belong; together?.
