i stole a couple candy bars that was equivalent to about $3, was caught now i have to go to court over some candy bars, i returned the candy bars but still have court? can anyone tell me what kind of charges/fines i will be faced with? i feel like in order to go to court for something the amount of the stolen product should be much more than $3, dont you think they have other more important things to worry about?
do i really have to go to court for something under $4 in california?
