Do I qualify for financial assistance if ??? READ PLZ?

I only made $6,645 last year.I have two kids so I'm not dependent with parents or anything.I'm not married either.Also do they ask for other things like rent reciepts or how much do i pay rent etc.Thanks

p.s-The school I'm planning to go to cost $15,000.

I'm assuming you mean Student Financial Aid? You will definitely qualify for a Stafford Loan, if not something Federally granted. I would apply at the fafsa website if I were you. It's free, so it can't do any harm. I recently applied for a fafsa and was granted a Stafford Loan, even with a relatively high EFC (Estimated Family Contribution), so I can virtually guarantee you can get some type of assistance.
