i recently acquired a 1998 oldsmobile bravada(blazer, jimmy) AWD,
it has been parked for over a year, engine and battery have been removed and gas tank emptied, hard times and ive been waiting to get new motor. the time is near, but i am wonering if i will need to reprogram the pcm due to being without any battery for about 1 < 2 yr? reserve memory only lasts for so long...........any help would be greatly appreciated.

no need to reprogram pcm.software inside the memory chip not erace without connecting reprogaming tool like tech-2
