I currently have a samsung gravity with t-mobile, but i want to get a sidekick. I have unlimited texting, 400 talking minutes a month...and that's really all i need (don't need internet, aim, etc). So could i just put my sim card into the sidekick phone and it would work fine or do i absolutely NEED to get the data plan? I have my contacts saved on my sim card and i've heard if you take the battery out of your sidekick, the contacts are lost, but wouldn't it be fine if they were all saved on my sim anyway? anddd, would my whole unlimited texting and 400 talking minutes transfer over to the sidekick or is the data plan unavoidable? thanks
