I drive a 01 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Infinity system.I'm about to install my aftermarket HU with subs and amp.I would like to bypass the factory amp and just power the speakers with the HU.The factory amp produces around the same rms as the HU so it wouldn't really matter.Do I need this adapter http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120706504/Dodge-Jeep-Chrysler-In-dash-Stereo-Integration-Adapter.html?tp=3486 or not.I have aready ordered this wiring harness http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120701817/Receiver-Wire-Harness.html?tp=736 to make it easier for me to install my aftermarket HU.Like I said I already have the subs,amp, and amp kit.So would it be ok to power the speakers with the HU and bypass the factory amp or do I need the adapter?
