Do I need prior experience to work in the photo developing area at Wal greens?

More specifically, do I need to already know how to use those machines that they use to develop a roll of film?

I'm thinking of applying for that job so I wanted to know. Thanks.

No you do not need previous experience to work in a photo lab. They will train you on how to develop and process film as well as make prints. They're typically straight forward machines and I believe the chemistry for the developing chemicals are already mixed in boxes so it's just hook up and you're good to go. I would suggest, however, that since you seem to be interested in the photography industry, look for an independant photo lab instead of one in a chain store. Independant photo labs train you on how to correct density, color, etc. whereas the chain stores put everything on Auto Print and don't the time to correct each image.
