do i need honda antifreeze?

i have a 1995 civic and its been running cool since its been cold out, my heat works fine. but the fluid is low. i bought prestone antifreeze and heard non- oem coolant can cause premature water pump failure on hondas.

i called honda and they told me any standard antifreeze will work for my car. should i just use the prestone or go through the trouble of taking it back and driving down to Honda to pick up the OEM one?
 
U can Use any 50/50 Anti-freeze I would not use any dectox or w.e the hell that crappy brand is stay with prestone 50/50 I use that all the time on my civic but U should really think about changing the pump if u havent by now n the thermostat
