Do I need both ?

Depends on your goals. Running is excellent cardio, and develops good, even muscular endurance in your legs. If you want more strength in your legs than running is providing, you may want to add things like leg lifts or lunges.

However, running on hills and doing some sprints will also help build leg muscle.

People who run a lot and dont do other workouts tend to have very tight calves. It's recommended that you do some legwork - calf raises, leg press machines - to counter that. My podiatrist is always on me about that. Also, since you are female, weight training of some sort is needed for bone density.
