Do I need bandage pads for fleece lined exercise bandages?

I have got some exercise bandages for my horse for when I am doing flatwork and schooling but they are fleece lined and are quite thick, so do I still need bandage pads to go underneath them? They do feel very padded when I tried them on him but I'm not sure if I still need the pads. Heres the link to the bandages, thanks.
