Do I need a license in Indiana for a 49 cc Yamaha Zuma?

I'm 16 and was thinking of purchasing one to tool around town in. if anyone can give me any performance figures(top speed, acceleration, efficiency, maitenance, etc.) that would be good too. thanks!!

You will need you regular drivers license, the same one you use to drive a car. You will also need to wear glasses or eye protection of some sort, sunglasses will work. As for specs on the Zuma, I do not know for sure but I will give you a fairly good guess. Top speed will be near 40 mph, they will take forever and a day to accelerate (not the reason you get a moped for after all), you will get better than 50 mpg and the thing will be very reliable, requiring very little maintenance.
