I just moved and am opting not to get cable. I know I can buy a digital converter box to get the basic channels but could I get a vcr that did the same sort of thing?
I have a JVC VCR now but haven't unpacked it yet to see if it works.
This is what I have now.
HR-VP634U VCR has dual quick set: (plug & play) for automatic clock setting and automatic channel scan. It also has 181-channels cable-compatible frequency-synthesized tuner and multi-speed search (19-step SP/21-step EP) including 5-speed slow motion)
