I do not think i need a cap but my friend said it would sound better. i do not know how a cap could make my system sound better... i have a rockfordfosgate 600.1 bd mono amp that puts out 2000watts maxxx and 650 rms but on the test sheet i got with the amp it said 750 rms and 2100 maxx i have had the amp over a year would a cap make the amp more efficient with power or what please explain

Do not get a cap. Upgrade the battery or get 2 of them or a h.o alternator. Also look into upgrading "the big 3". Caps only work under certain circumstances. It will not make your system sound any better. All they do is store power and basically shoots it out at really high peaks.
