Do I keep the light for my fish tank on all day, all night?

I usually leave the light on all the time but is that okay?
Oh by the way I have a frog that lives underwater in my tank, not a fish sorry.

No turn it off when you go to sleep it harms your fish because they might not get enough sleep with the light on

turn it off. You'll have a few problems if you don't, such as algae and stress for your animals. Fish need downtime, so leave it on about 12 hours, more if you HAVE to, but the longer you leave it on, the more algae you're going to have to clean out eventually.
