Do I have to take math/science courses in college even though I'm majoring in art?

Like we take math and science courses in high school, do I have to take Calculus and that kind of stuff in college even though I'm not majoring in 'em?
Please help.

I already have geometry, and algebra 1, and by the senior year, I'll be taking Pre-Calculus. and I'm in Texas.
and, By art, I meant cinematic arts. Like visual effects and animation and stuff like that. I think that might help.

I already have taken two three lab sciences, and i'm going to take physics AP(advance placement) next academic school year. and I have taken world history and taking US history next academic school year.
 
Before you get into the nitty gritty stuff of your major, many colleges have you go through of a series of general education courses to round you out, per se. At my college, I have to take three, six, or eight hours in various English, Math, Science, Philosophy, Communications, History, Social Sciences, and Language courses. This means you most likely will definitely have to take at least one math class and at least two sciences class--one for lecture and the other for lab. However, you may get to stop there or your major may require you to do more of them.
 
no most likely not but some programs in college still require you to a very very very basic calculus or math course but it would most likely be very simplified and nothing you havent seen in high school
