Hello, I recently purchased a MyTouch 3G to replace my old Sony Ericson. I placed my sim card into the MyTouch and noticed that it was connected to the internet using the EDGE network. I'm on a family plan that doesn't include any internet service, does this mean I automatically subscribed to a data plan by placing my sim card into my new MyTouch and turning it on or is it free? I'm kind of confused about how this works.
