I am starting at a community college for my first two years and I LOVE the thought of taking microbiology. It's weird, but I'm going to be majoring (after two years and transferring to the university) in Communications and minoring in Art. So what I want to major in has nothing to do with medicine, but I really want to take Microbiology. Does it matter? I know you have to take math and science classes for your AA, so I wanted to take the biology and math prerequisites and then take microbiology.
Would that be... okay? Or would that throw me off heavily?
