Do I Have To Get Married To Get Baby Benefits In The Military?

Ok, before I ask the question in detail...

My girl and I are deeply in love and we have a baby on the way. The region/state in general that I live in has next to no jobs (Florida). I've decided that joining the military and going to college would be my future family's best bet. She doesn't want me to leave, but I know I have to do something.

So, would we have to get married to get a little more help with supporting our baby? We don't have anything against others getting married, but we both oppose it for ourselves. Our relationship is doing just fine without law/religion being involved. Please respect my views, as I do your's, and answer honestly. Thank you. =)
It's a big deal because we don't like things being forced on us. To get the same benefits as Christians, or some other religious followers, we'd have to get married. I know that a lot of people that get married aren't religious, but marriage is meant to be a religious ritual.
Also, I don't believe in getting married just because you knocked someone up. Our love means more than that.
