I'm 18 years old and I was just thinking of my future as a gay man, how will this affect me and everyone else arround me, but this is irrelevant, having watched a lot of gay themed films, I would tend to believe that they are highly unrealistic and cmon which movie isn't, for example nerdy ugly guy and the hot guy has a crush on him and at the end they live happily ever after.
So before I ask my question I just wanted to give a reason for asking, I im young so I just want to know whats ahead for me, I am liberal in a lot of things like marriage, I really don't want to get married, but you see this is what bugs me and I hope that this is not true but where I live I find it hard to find gay couples that are not in open relations.
I really dont know if I will find anyone but OK so the point im trying to get across is, are there really guys that are willing or are truly monogamous, Are there guys in the gay community that are really laid back dudes, I know been gay is not a personality and all of us have the same likes but I dont think I could take an open relation, I would be willing to try it but knowing myself I know jealousy is going to take over.
I dont think I will ever be enough for a guy, and if I were to be in a relationship I wouldnt want to lose that person, so I would try an open relation... but IDK, I hope someone understands what im trying to say I know this looks like a collage of bad grammar and poor explaining skills.. but help me out, advice, resources anything_?
