Do I have the right to deny a paternity test?

Get a order of protection from him, and you dont have to put him on the birth certificate, you put unknown, then he would have to sue for a dna test and by the sounds of him he probably wont even put in the time and effort.
 
I am 20 years old and pregnant. I am moving to Germany with my parents who are currently on the military base. The father of my baby has turned out to be less than desirable going from threatening suicide if I did not abort, to badgering about abortion, to harrasing me, to hitting me, to breakin up with me, to accusing me of cheating on him and saying the baby is not his. It has become emotionally draining and I do not wish him to be a part of the childs life because I cannot see him possibly being a decent father. I also know he has had a past with hard drugs like cocaine and crystal meth. I do not want money from him, All i want is to try to raise my child with as normal of a life as possible. He says he will take me to court for paternity test. Do I have to and also what good would a paternity test do him?
