I was told I needed an ethernet cable to connect my new laptop to the wireless router. I unplugged the wire that was going from my desktop cpu to the modem and replaced it with one end of the new ethernet cable, I plugged the other end into the wireless router. I am getting service to my laptop now but not the desktop. I hope that makes sense , I have no clue about this stuff. Help!!
