Do I have bad taste in music?

Just remember:

1) You have the right to like whatever you like. Your musical preferences don't really reflect very much on who you are as a person (and I haven't listened to the song so I'm not judging it one way or another.)
2) Frankly it's pretty immature for someone to mock and belittle someone else for their musical tastes.
3) And for the record John Mayer pretty much does suck...

but when i let my roommate hear she made fun of me in front of my friends and told me it was dumb and that I had bad taste in music. But it is brand new and she has never even heard it before! Also she listens to John Mayer so i do not think she has the best taste in music anyway... plus she was mean to me in front of my friends

What do you think? Please help i am not feeling too confident now...
