Okay I want to know my chances for the following colleges.
Cornell University
UC Irvine
UC Davis
University of Vermont
University of Minnesota Twin Cities
I live in Georgia and I am going to be a senior when the school year begins in 2009. I have a 3.1 GPA right now at a school which offers only honors level courses (so courses are college level). I made a 1430 on the SAT the first time around due to me having a migrane and being sick while taking the test.
ECs:
Local medical college ambassador's program
Academic Decathlon (won some medals in it)
and I plan on doing sports for my senior year, I plan on doing Tennis and Soccer.
I will be doing academic decathlon again this coming school year and I plan on winning more gold medals.
I may join 1 more club.
For the SUMMER I am doing an internship at a local doctor's office.
I am Asian (East Indian). I plan on getting around an 1800 SAT score this time around (according to the observations made by the proctor who watched me in the practice test I took last week, which I made an 1860 on. 670 in math, 580 in reading and 610 in writing).
If my SAT score does get up to around an 1800, do I have a chance at any of those colleges? If the score stays the same, do I still have a chance?
my school is the 2nd best school in the state of Georgia.
