ok basically I bought my jeep brand new in 07. Between now and then Ive had a few problems with it - the radio broke and had to be replaced - the fan belt started making whiney loud noises - so it was in the garage for the best part of a week - they then replaced the fan belt for a new one. There were lights popping up on the dash board for no reason. All of these faults were fixed for free as it was under warranty. However yesterday I dropped it down for a service and was charged €600 for the service - including new filters etc and labour. When I was driving home I noticed the whiney sound coming again so rang them and they told me drop it back down and they would replace the fan belt again - foc obviously due to being under warranty.
my question is - surely for a new jeep I should not be having these problems - its a Ssangyong Kyron.
the garage is about 40 minutes away from where I live so it takes time and money to drop it down the whole time. The do give me a courtesy car - but id prefer not to have to take it!
Do I have any rights regarding these problems that really have nothing to do with me mistreating the jeep etc?
