i bought a 2nd hand Vauxhall vectra off ebay (Privately, not a garage) 6 weeks ago. The car is 212 years old with 9 months left on the mot. I wanted something cheap & cheerful for just a few hundred pounds. I took it for a test drive before i parted with the cash & it was driving fine.
2 weeks later & 250 miles later the battery went followed by the gear box & it will cost me hundreds more to get it fixed.
I not got back in touch with the previous owner as i thought it was just a "A sold as seen" deal off ebay but a friend says a may be able to claim something back as the vehicle has "Not done its job"
Is this true? if so which organisation do i contact?
