Do guys like teaching a girl a sport??? is it creepy to ask them to teach?

one of my guy friend/crush is a senior and im a sophmore and we live in the same neighborhood.
he lives in my neighbor hood and we are kind of close but we arent close enough to call each other to randomaly hang out.
hes a good tennis player and i just started back on tennis again.
i want him to give me a few lessons...how should i ask him???

i was thinking of being like "hey do you know anyone that would give me a few lessons?"

how should i ask but in a way to get him to offer???
 
Yeah, a lot of guys would. You could start a conversation about tennis, and then mention that you are going to start playing again... He should offer to give you a few tips or something, or even challenge you to a match....
 
the way you said would be a good way to start.He will probably tell you some good places to get lessons .Then you should ask him if he could give you some lessons
 
I think it's a great thing to do. I am into a few sports and my gf doesn't want anything to do with them. I asked her to try and she says no. I know I would love for a girl to show such interest.

Sounds like a good plan.
 
Haha, it's cool, I have 3 girls at work who are constantly asking me to teach them to climb...

You may have just answered why...
 
Guys love teaching girls how to do things. So yeah, thats a really good way to ask. Just be like I was looking for someone to give me a few tennis lessons, and I know you are really good. Would you mind?

Slipping a compliment in there is always good :)
