do Great Pyrenees prefer to live outdoors or in?

i read that some breeds - who were bred to guard flocks of sheep - dont like living in houses and prefer to be outdoors all the time roaming a big estate. Is the Great Pyrenees one of them or do they prefer to live/sleep in a house with a family?
 
I had one. And Im going to tell you they need lotsss of room to run and play. Unfortunatley my dad didnt get the memo on that when he brought one home, so we had to give him to a farm :(
They really like family, but I think they would be fine sleeping outside (just not in freezing weather)

Much of it has to do with how you train your dog. I've always had large breeds - St. Bernard's and Old English Sheepdogs. All of them have been house dogs. They love their outside time but also their cuddle in the house time.
