im 17 and all the girls that i know thik its nasty and claim they would never do it. are they just saying that or do they really mean it?
 
O-O I certainly wouldn't touch myself... or watch porn O_O... nope Not me hahaha masturbation isn't disgusting!!! It's normal and fun. Chances are that they might not be touching themselves, and if they are they want to hide it. So it's possible both. Like 2 girls touch themselves in your group but because they think it's dirty and gross and abnormal they'll adamantly deny it
 
They're lying and I would too. It's not seen as acceptable for women to masturbate. When I was in high school, my health teacher spent a whole class talking about male masturbation and told them to go ahead and do it since they have more of a sex drive, and never said anything about girl's masturbating which only sends the message that it's not okay for girls to do it.

Society teaches girls that it's gross and wrong, I wouldn't admit it either.
 
I don't remember any girl I knew when I was young saying masturbation was disgusting. I think this is probably an American thing, Americans seem to be very prudish. Or perhaps it's a generational thing. Maybe young people nowadays have more sexual hangups than they did when I was young, I don't know.

Honestly, all that stuff about 'women aren't supposed to enjoy sex' that was a Victorian thing, nobody has believed that for decades surely?
 
We do it, most of us. However, we don't necessarily want to talk about it. Girls that age are not really comfortable with their bodies and sexuality yet.

I think I started touching myself when I was 14 or 15, I don't really remember. I certainly wouldn't have admitted it, though.
 
well for the most part girls lie about this subject and are not as comfortable as men are mainly because when we are done masturbating we feel dirty well i do anyways so theirfore when the subject is brought up we tend to shoot it down fast but yes we do masturbate not as much as u do but some yes...no not disgusting but kinda when u wanna masturbate to every girl thats hot....
 
We really do mean it. It is not a nice thought; it is particularly disturbing because we are aware that it is possible for us to be the focus for some boy's "personal time" and that is basically mental rape. We don't like the idea of being thought of pervasively, we don't like the idea of porn, and we really don't like knowing that you can do it whenever you want with whoever you want in your mind.
 
masturbation is a very sensitive subject for women.. women since the victorian era until recently weren't supposed to enjoy sex they were just meant to have children or that was the mindset and if they liked sex they were a witch.. however today we know better.. women don't like to admit to masturbation because they think it makes them look like a whore, however most women masturbate.. most women also think a penis is disgusting but yet most women have sex with men..
