Do girls like it when guys joke around a lot?

I absolutely love to joke around, pretty much all the time. Most girls find this very funny, but is enough enough sometimes? I always do everything in good humor and am quick to apologize if I go to far, but I'm wondering if this lead to my last gf getting sick of it. Ladies, any thoughts?
 
well, actually girls like it when guys have a good sense of humor, but they don't like it if you're telling a joke every 2 minutes, make the conversation flow, with SOME jokes in there and you will be fine.
