When I was little, a family visited my house.
My grandpa and dad are known for massaging people to rid their stress on their body.
But on the day that family visited our house, I was scarred with the idea that spirits or contact with the paranormal were....real.
My dad went outside and greeted them. He went back in and told my older sister, my little brother, and I, to go inside our rooms. We went inside my room, and I asked my sister what was going on. She didn't know, so she opened up the door a bit and peeked outside.
All of sudden, a horrifying scream filled the house. I nearly peed my pants. I asked my sister again, and she said that there was a girl laying on the floor of our living room with her parents and my dad surrounding her. My sister assumed that she was possesed by something or...someone.
I was little, but I knew what she was talking about. The screaming went on for a while. My dad was doing some chant in another language. I'm not sure what language it was, but we're Filipino and that was not our language. Some of our neighbors were pinning her down to floor and she was screeching some words. It ended soon after.
We didn't dare to ask our dad or mom what happened for they would never tell us.
So do ghost/spirits really exist? and can they posses someone or move an object at will?
Please don't give me some answers that say I'm crazy, because I'm not.
I had some more experiences growing up and even some weird things happened in our new house that we live in now.
We moved away from the Philippines BEFORE any of this happened.
To the 2nd answerer. Science can't prove everything. There are things in the world that can't be explained. To question one's beliefs is like questioning if God exists. Thanks for your answer anyway.
