I set up a 20 gallon aquarium a few days ago and i was wondering if i have to cycle it because the tester kits are very expensive. Is there anything cheaper that i can do to test the water?
The pet store will do it for free. but i question you..if spending money on doing the tank right is too much..then how are you going to stock and take care of any fish? i spent about $10.00 on a kit..you don't have to have a lab to do it.
