Do fish get tired of swimming?

Well, they do "sleep" (more of like resting) But with porper care they shouldnt be like just sitting there all the time but my goldfish will just sit there but then when i come back an hour later he is like swimming like crazy. So i bet they do get tired at times :)

Yeah, they do. That's why they don't swim all of the time. Sometimes they just float around in the water and swim slowly.

Well fish have a swim bladder that allows on of them to control how much air to take in to be able to float and release effort of swimming. Fish also sleep half of their brains at a time allowing them to contently swimming and move water through their gills.
