I'm thinking about applying at one that just opened, to work weekends for extra cash, but everyone I see there is on rollerblades, and I have not skated in over 20 years.

I highly doubt it is a requirement. I've only seen one Sonic employee skate, and it looked like she was just doing it for fun while they weren't busy, because she almost fell.

no i dont think so i know the ones in texas you half to but at mine they just walk out not skate hope you get the job good luck an happy new year

everyone there is not on rollerblades. they have people working the drive-thru and in the back cooking. obviously those people aren't on skates.

I don't think you have to know how to skate, but if you do im sure they will let you practice or teach you.
