i am going to put an electrical disconnect up for a wood/ electric boiler but am not sure if plywood is necessary for backing when it will be mounted on the cement wall. now if this where the main distribution box i would ad plywood just for that but am not sure if codes require that all electrical boxes are supposed to be mounted on plywood.
do electrical disconnects require plywood backing when put on a basement cement wall?
