Do Ducati's get stolen much?

My friend's 748 was stolen in less than 10 mins back in 2003. He went for a quick spin and came back to his apt to get his jacket, parked his bike in his underground gated parking lot (BTW, the #1 and easiest place bikes are stolen) ran up stairs and come back in like I said, less than 10 mins to notice his bike was GONE... He thinks it was the white truck that was behind him as he pulled up to his apt...

Thieves are FAST and they aren't as DUMB as WE think....We are the DUMB ones!!! And yes, I've also had a bike stolen!
 
I don't care about cost. I buy the best insurance and the best bits for my bikes.

But when we get ripped off, it's the feeling of being violated that hurts most. Truly, and a lot - he stole my baby.

And if I ever catch one of these bastards, the last people I will call is the cops.
