I went out Saturday morning and went on my 20 mile ride. About 1 mile into it I hit a traffic light with another cyclist. We talked a minute and rode for a few miles together. At some point I realized that he was taking his all to keep up with me. My gears were maxed out and I wish I had a few more for down hills and flat ground. I took off and didn't see him until we hit this park were cyclist like to park. I kind of got the cold shoulder when I started up another conversation. I think he was mad that he was on a 1000 dollar bike, and I ride my 400 hundred dollar Schwinn. I did upgrade a few things on it. I just kind of wonder if it bothers people to get passed by lesser bikes? I think my BMX and mountain bike experience help me to pedal faster on a road bike...
